Tentative agenda for the 8th Annual General Meeting

The ABTO Secretariat announced in an email to all its members, the tentative agenda for the 8th Annual General Meeting. ABTO also requires you to confirm your participation latest by 20th May, to enable them to make proper sitting arrangements and lunch.

The tentative agenda

  • Venue: Sir Ugyen Dorjee Hall, Taj Tashi Hotel
  • 0900 – 0930 Registration
  • 0930 – 0935 Welcome by General Secretary
  • 0935 – 0945 Opening Address by President
  • 0945 – 1000 Statement by Director General, Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB)
  • 1000 – 1030 Views and clarification (Specific to TCB or DG’s Statement)
  • 1030 – 1100 Tea Break
  • 1100 – 1130 Presentation on Annual Report 2007
  • 1130 – 1245 Election of the Board of Directors
  • 1245 – 1300 Declaration of the Election Results and taking over of duties
  • 1300 – 1400 Lunch
  • 1400 – 1430 Presentation on Articles of Association
  • 1430 – 1500 Discussion
  • 1500 – 1530 Adoption of the Articles of Association
  • 1530 – 1600 Tea Break
  • 1600 – 1700 Any Other Matters
  • Closing Address by one of the Board member elect
